IB Times recently reported that The Richest lists the Kardashian-Jenner girls as having a net worth of $101 million. Kim Kardashian comes in at around $28 million. Yet, if you asked anyone what the Kardashians are known for, the response would likely be that they are known simply for being famous.

Social Media Presence

When you’re famous for being famous, sometimes a social media presence is all you need. In fact, you may even be able to get Twitter famous, as the teens like to put it. One example would be the recent craze over a photo of Kylie Jenner’s lips.

While this wasn’t necessarily positive publicity as teens tried their best to get Kylie Jenner’s look, some even causing bruising and damage to their lips, it was a situation where Kylie Jenner’s name was tweeted over and over again.

When Bruce Jenner announced on national television that he was taking hormones and was going to live as a female, what did the Kardashian and Jenner girls do? They went on social media of course.

Perez Hilton reported that Khloe tweeted that Bruce was strong and courageous, Kim said she respects him, and Kourtney shared promo for the two-hour show where he revealed all and she urged people to be kind as we’re all God’s creatures.

The Kardashians are on more than just the Twittersphere, though. Kim, has over 20 million followers on Instagram. It’s no wonder with all those selfies she’s always snapping and sharing with her viewers. How engaged are you on social media?

Are you a Kardashian or a shrinking violet? If you aren’t getting much attention, perhaps a few selfies are in order.

Or, you could try techniques that are proven to work, such as sharing photos of your customers using your service or product, adding videos and tagging influencers and companies when you mention them.
