Morguefile: MissyRedBootsOne of the fun things we do here at Promo Divas is host events from time to time for our wonderful readers and customers. ‘Twas the Night Before… will offer the chance to read fun stories about Promo Divas clients, including Author Yearbookauthors. The contest will run from now until just after Christmas. Every few days, we’ll post a Christmas memory story from one of our wonderful clients. These stories are heart-warming, funny and always entertaining. This will give you the opportunity to learn more about us.

Each time a new story goes up, you’ll get a new chance to enter the contest. Read the story, answer the question and get a chance to win the following prize package:

Our first featured client is Sharon Ihle. Sharon is part of the Author Yearbook and has contributed some wonderful socks and two autographed copies of her books to the prize package above. Her best Christmas Eve memory follows:

My favorite Christmas Eve memory is one my husband and I call the ‘Swap Meet Christmas.” Around the time our four kids became teens, we decided to keep them from looking for their names on packages and peeking at what was inside. We cleverly came up with this idea—we thought of a code for each child and wrote those codes on the packages. By Christmas Eve we had them completely stymied—and, as it turned out, ourselves, too! We had forgotten which code went with which child. The night became a free-for-all of random packages and lots, and lots of swaps!

You can visit Sharon’s website for a complete list of her books. To enter the contest, send an e-mail to Lori_Soard (at) yahoo.com with the subject line ‘Twas the Night Before…  Answer the following question and include your name. We will get the winner’s address once drawn. Check back in a few days to read a new story and for another entry.

Why did Sharon and her husband leave the children’s names off their presents?
